We are the research team at INTITEC at the University of Duisburg-Essen, and are currently building a research database of people who have personal and meaningful connections with AI chatbots. We want to understand these relationships better and make sure that the people who have them are represented in research with their own experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds.
We are interested in hearing from anyone aged 18 or older who has a close connection to a chatbot. This includes people who are in a romantic relationship with a chatbot, who sext with chatbots, or who generally have an intimate relationship with a chatbot, including seeing a chatbot as a friend, companion, or as a mentor.
